X-Med Haemostatic Premium Strips in 2 Sizes-20pcs

X-Med Haemostatic Premium Adhesive Strips with a mixture of calcium alginate and sodium alginate of plant origin, help in the faster process of blood clotting, ensuring the ceasing of bleeding, while at the same time contributing to the rapid healing of the wound and the prevention of scarring.

Water resistant and hypoallergenic, with a high absorbent central pad that does not stick to the wound. Are suitable for even the most sensitive skin, without causing discomfort during their removal and leaving no residue.

The package contains 20 adhesive strips in 2 assorted sizes:

10 strips – Dimensions: 19mm x 72mm
10 strips – Dimensions: 25mm x 72mm

1st Step: Cleanse the wound and the surrounding skin and dry thoroughly
2nd Step: Choose an X-Med Haemostatic Premium Strip, in a size slightly larger than the wound
3rd Step: Remove the covering and apply X-Med Haemostatic Premium Strip, in a way that the gauze pad covers the wound
4th Step: Stick the adhesive surface over the skin, without stretching the strip

Contraindications:

The use of alginate dressing is not recommended for infants less than 12 months of age
Do not use in third-degree burns

Precautions:

Do not use on patients with a known allergy to alginates
Do not use on dry or necrotic tissues
Not intended to achieve haemostatics in heavily bleeding wounds
When used on infected wounds, the infection should be inspected and treated in accordance with local clinical protocol
Do not reuse
Do not resterilize
Keep in cool and dry place
